About the Artist

Bjorn was born in Stockholm, Sweden in 1955, he emigrated to Australia in 1971. Bjorn studied Engineering at The University of Western Australia, Perth, Western Australia. In 1995 he received a Diploma of Art and Design from Midland TAFE, Midland, Western Australia.

Bjorn has built an international following with his work held in many collections around the world, an indication of the high regard for Australian artists since all of Bjorn’s solo exhibitions have been in Australia (see below). His depiction of our "everyday life" in caricature is enticing, entertaining and refreshing.
