About the Artist

Francesca GnagnarellaFrancesca was born in Lanciano, Italy in 1984. She currently works and exhibits throughout the world.

"My works are born like splashes so they are alive. When the shapes come on their lives vanish. That is why I am able to make only splashes and not paintings! A splash is a warm work, born of itself, 'ame honnette sans reflection'!"
Francesca Gnagnarella

Francesca started painting on ceramics and glass during high school, also pursuing photography studies. In 2004 under tutelage of the sculptor Vito Pancella she began her artistic career creating the bronze sculpture "Partgage". Francesca has continued her 'self taught' painting technique and also through her work in Paris at the Picasso Atelier.
