About the ArtistDarla is a 30-year resident of Prescott, Arizona, USA and has worked in the animal health care field for over 20 years. In 2002 she founded Az-Art for Animals.org which combined her greatest passions. She has been drawing and painting since she was 8 years old. She attended art classes at Yavapai College in Prescott, Arizona for several years. Darla's primary interests are landscapes, animals and portraits, done in mainly oil and pastels though she works in casein, acrylic for her plein air studies. Some of her favourite locations to paint are southern Colorado and northern Arizona and she hopes you enjoy here favourite subjects captured on canvas. |
