About the ArtistAldo Nicolò was born in Sesto S. Giovanni (Italy) in 1933, and lives in Milan where he attended his first courses at the Academia Cimabue and then took part in several contests and personal or collective exhibitions. Being a free and extroverted spirit, he suddenly quit painting still life and landscapes to release his own instinct and colourful imagination, thus allowing himself to create works bringing joy and positive feelings to observers. He is the painter of the floral arabesque, fed by explosions of colours. At a glance you feel the evocation of some petrified ancient trees, back in the mists of time, which left marks of fabled flowers. Then you realize that the artist’s imagination has brought forth a forest of branches in flower, inside flickers of burning steams and white-hot clouds. It is a decoration triumph, expressed through lyrical participation and continuous sensitive variations, bringing new visions and moving themes, again and again. Selected exhibitions:
