About the Artist

Jeff Selander was born and still lives in the Illinois Quad Cities. His interest in art began at an early age when he won a contest to design a cover for his junior high school yearbook. Ever since, he can be found with a camera in hand searching for that one perfect picture.

Jeff graduated from a local college with a degree in art. While there, he studied many different mediums. Of them, he finds watercolor to be the most interesting and rewarding.

Jeff has worked as a custom framer since 1991. "Working as a custom framer has been a great asset to me as an artist. The thousands of prints I’ve framed have given me a better understanding of what people are interested in. It has also given me the opportunity to explore various techniques and styles."
