About the Artist

Brian was born in Perth, Western Australia, in 1934. "My first memory of drawing is drawing on the bed head with a yellow crayon."

Brian joined the workforce at age 15 working as a cadet artist, house painter and sign writer. He joined the RAAF in 1956 and served for twenty years, twice in Vietnam and was a casualty there in 1972. During the mid 1960s he was was stationed in Sydney NSW and was able to study under Desideruious Orban. Brian resigned from from the RAAF in 1976 and has pursued his art career as a sculptor and painter to the present.
