Artist's Statement"I have been using pastels as a medium for only
1 year yet I have always drawn or painted for most of my life. As
far as carving in wood I have done this for about 2 years now. All
of my art has been self taught. My carvings are all done with hand
tools and a wood burner. I find nature and animals my more favored
subjects yet I am also able to do people, cars and houses. My
inspirations and creativity are greatly influenced by the support of
my husband and our two sons." |
