About the ArtistJon Denaro studied at the Claremont School of Art and the University of Tasmania before plunging into a wealth of activity. Since 1989 he has produced work for several solo and group exhibitions and has forged strong partnerships with PICA and the ARTRAGE festival. His work is primarily sculptural and he has a particular affinity with wood, metal and recycled materials, as seen in his most recent solo exhibition (Second Skin, Fremantle Arts Centre, 2001).
