About the Artist

Anne, a North Fremantle based artist, studied Art and Design at Curtin University of Technology (1982-85) and completed post-graduate studies in sculpture at the National University, Canberra (1991-92). Early in 2001, Anne returned from Seoul, South Korea where, as part of her most recent overseas residency she exhibited at the Total Museum of Contemporary Art. Her other residencies include Basel, Switzerland (the International Artists' Exchange organised by the Artists Foundation of Western Australia) 1994; and Kuala Lumpur (Asialink), 1997.

Anne has exhibited both nationally and internationally; has had regular solo exhibitions over the last decade and contributed to group exhibitions throughout Australia, as well as in the USA, UK, West Germany and Japan. Her art practice is, however, diverse, encompassing many public and urban art commissions.
